Migrated existing email systems to Microsoft Office 365’s cloud-based solution, enhancing reliability, accessibility, and security. Implemented cloud storage options including, OneDrive for personal documentation and a cloud backup, and Sharepoint as an intranet, facilitating the seamless transition of locally stored files to the cloud.
Collaboration Solutions
Deployed Microsoft Teams, a dynamic collaboration platform, to elevate communication, file sharing, and teamwork across ALS's workforce. Utilised MS Teams and Zoom for meetings, as well as Sharepoint as a document sharing solution.
Device Management
Established a cloud-based device management system using Microsoft Azure/Entra – all devices are remotely managed as well as all directory users and policies. Implemented cloud-based tools (Microsoft, Eset and ISL Online) which enable CN to remotely configure and deploy patch updates and configurational changes to endpoints.
Business Continuity
Implemented a robust backup solution to protect critical data and ensure business continuity in the event of system failures or data loss. The 365 Backup solution implemented and provided by Datto has a 1-year retention policy in place, this back up includes both email and data which is held online.
Licensing Management
Provided ALS with the necessary licenses, ensuring smooth access to the deployed cloud solutions. This encompassed licensing management for email, collaboration tools, and device management and security solutions. This is managed and deployed by CN for any accounts or subscription-based services requiring a license. This is all done through their cloud portal where each account can be managed, the same is applied for licensed software.
