Our Cyber Security Essentials certification service is the simplest way to get certified to Government standards. Following our initial audit, we will perform a comprehensive audit that considers the five controls in the scheme.
Following this audit, we will provide a bespoke report identifying your vulnerabilities and the improvements required for certification.
We can build the cyber security measures required on your behalf, and we also provide training and ongoing support. Once we are satisfied with your cyber security, we will certify your business under the Cyber Security Essentials scheme.
We can also go further than Cyber Essentials. We can create advanced security controls that deal with rarer, more complex threats, such as DDoS attacks. We’ll recommend a range of new security measures following the audit.
Cyber Essentials – How It Works
The Cyber Essentials assessment consists of a questionnaire and an external vulnerability scan of your IT systems. The scan covers all relevant IT assets and is performed remotely by one of our CREST certified professionals.
The Cyber Essentials PLUS assessment involves an on-site assessment, and further vulnerability scans on-site. You can upgrade to Cyber Essentials PLUS up to 3 months from the basic assessment.
Your organisation needs to re-certify annually to retain its certification status. We provide re-certification services with scheduled appointments available.
Once you are certified, you can proudly showcase the Cyber Essentials badge on your website and in print. The Cyber Essentials badge is recognisable, helping to improve your reputation and legitimise your security controls.
